Weight Management

Although it seems the world is constantly pursuing weight loss, not everyone needs to be on a diet. Below is a body mass index (BMI) chart. Although it is not a complete indicator of health (why?) it is a good place to start.

BMI Chart
  • BMI < 19 Underweight May be medically-necessary to gain weight
  • BMI 19-24 Normal Maintain good eating habits and tone.
  • BMI 25-29 Overweight Examine lifestyle. Make positive changes to avoid gaining weight.
  • BMI 30+ Obese See a healthcare professional to determine the best weight loss program for you.
