Eating Disorder Treatment

UNCG Student Health Services utilizes a multidisciplinary approach in the treatment of eating disorders. Our outpatient management team is composed of psychologist(s), physician(s), and a registered dietitian.

If you, or someone you know, is suffering with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, compulsive overeating, or other similar eating disorders , we strongly encourage you to seek help immediately. The sooner a person receives treatment the better the chances of recovery. Referrals can be made to the Student Health Center by calling 336.334.5340.

Each client will be assessed to determine the best mode of care. If outpatient treatment is sufficient, individual care will be coordinated via the Eating Disorder Treatment Team (EDTT).
